Julie Chen Moonves hosted the famous summer reality series Big Brother which returned to CBS for its 22nd Season on the 5th of August. Chen Moonves had been the first of The Talk's hosts and hosts. Prior to that, she worked as a reporter at ABC NewsOne, the network's affiliated news service (1992-1995) and a desk-assistant in ABC News' Los Angeles Bureau (1990-1991) and all the while she was finishing her final year in college in The University of Southern California. She began her career as an assistant for ABC News, working on the late-night news program Nightline with Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel is still among Moonves' journalistic idols. Chen Moonves worked with Koppel in the Columbia du-Pont-nominated show on primetime, Anatomy of a Riot, which examined the 1992 Los Angeles riots.
