Mena Alexandra Suvari, born February 13, 1979 in the USA is an actor also a fashion designer, and model. Soon after she began her acting career Mena Alexandra Suvari starred as a guest on 1990s television shows Boy Meets World and High Incident. Her first film appearance was on the drama Nowhere. She made the transition to big roles through her appearances as a character in American Beauty for which she received nominations for an BAFTA Award and American Pie and American Pie, both of which gained more attention. After that, she appeared as the protagonist for the role of a protagonist in Sugar & Spice (2000) alongside American Pie star Jason Biggs. The film also featured her in the 2002 acclaimed independent drama Spun and in the 2004 thriller film Trauma. The year 2004, she appeared in the HBO drama Six Feet Under. She received nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Award in for 2005, as part of the Outstanding Ensemble. In 2008 her filmography included Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh, the adaptation from The Garden of Eden and numerous other films.
