The track was followed by Finer Thing. He wrote the latter while in prison. The song became his breakthrough single and amassed million of hits on YouTube which brought him into the limelight. Records majors began to show interest. Pop Out featuring Lil Tjay finally saw the light of day, when Lil Tjay signed an agreement to distribute the song to Columbia Records. It was viewed hundreds of millions of times on YouTube as well as reaching number 22 in the Billboard Hot 100. This is the first time Polo G charted a song. Polo G gained fame on YouTube and other social media sites like Instagram and Twitter.
